Pupil Premium

Striving for EXCELLENCE and EQUALITY through EQUITY and EMPOWERMENT

The Government provides all schools with a 'pupil premium grant' in addition to the main school funding. It is allocated according to the number of children on roll who receive Free School Meals (or have within the last 6 years), to 'looked after children'' or children who are from service families. This funding is provided to raise the attainment of these groups of pupils and close the gap in attainment between themselves and the rest of the cohort. Funding is also used to ensure these pupil's stay on track to reach their full potential.
