In 2016, I visited the school for the first time and immediately feel in love with everything it stood for; the beauty of the building; the energy in each class and the amazingly diverse and inspiring community that embraced it. Becoming Head teacher in such a school was the icing on the cake. Everyday I consider myself privileged to be part of such a unique and energetic school, working alongside and guiding such talented and driven staff and pupils.

With equity at the heart of everything we do, the St. Helen's community are focused on ensuring that every child we have the pleasure of teaching, receives every opportunity to thrive and make the most of every second on their journey to excellence. But we understand that excellence is not just academic success. It is our job to help all of our children find the confidence to express their thoughts, stand up for what is right and, through education, discover the knowledge and skills they need to make a positive difference in our ever changing world.
