Our computing sessions aim to ensure that all pupils:
Design and debug programs that achieve specific goals.
To understand that computing and programming can be creative art forms through, for example the creation of digital images and animation.
To understand computer networks including the internet.
To use search technology effectively and safely and to understand that anyone can post on the internet so it is essential to check what they find.
To select and use a variety of software, both in computing lessons and at other times, to accomplish given goals.
To be aware that technology is constantly changing and to be ready for those changes.
To use technology safely, respectful and responsibly and to be aware of what to do if others are not doing so.
USEFUL WEBSITES. These are the main coding languages we use at St Helen's. Alice and Python are only used in year 6.
